Credits & BYOK
Orbit’s pricing rests on a clean split: the platform is free, AI work that runs through Sivants’ proxy costs credits, and anything you run with your own key costs you nothing through Sivants. You choose, per provider, which side of that line each piece of work falls on.
Sivants Credits
Section titled “Sivants Credits”Credits are a prepaid balance for the AI features Sivants proxies — image and video generation and premium models. You buy them in bundles and they never expire; an unused balance simply rolls forward. The Credits drawer shows your balance, a runway estimate, and a full transaction ledger. Cost is shown before you send a message, and the display disappears when you’re on your own key.
Bring your own key
Section titled “Bring your own key”Drop a provider key into the Vault — Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, fal.ai, Recraft, ElevenLabs, and others — and that provider’s usage bypasses credits entirely. The arrangement is meant to be mixed: bring your own key where you use a provider heavily, and lean on credits for the occasional task where a separate account isn’t worth setting up.
Why the platform stays free
Section titled “Why the platform stays free”Orbit’s design principle is capability boundaries, not paywalls. What you can do is limited by what you’ve configured — keys present, agents installed, services connected — not by a feature gate. The monitoring, orchestration, Vault, context, and tooling are free to use; credits only enter when you ask Sivants to run AI on your behalf.
