Install the Discord Plugin

The Discord plugin is the first plugin on Orbit’s crash-isolated plugin system. It connects your Orbit activity to a Discord server.

Steps

Section titled “Steps”
  1. Go to Settings → Plugins and enable the Discord plugin (plugins live under ~/.orbit/plugins/).
  2. Configure outbound webhooks for ship, fail, and promote events.
  3. Add channel monitoring with watch rules for the channels you care about.
  4. Apollo can produce digests of flagged messages automatically.

The plugin loader is crash-isolated with its own event bus and a namespaced vault, so a misbehaving plugin can’t take Orbit down with it.
