Connections & MCP Dev Tools

Settings → Developer Settings → MCP Servers. Individual MCP servers can be temporarily disabled via a toggle without deleting them. Disabled servers are excluded from all agent config files (Claude Code, Codex, Claude Desktop), preventing connection warnings or startup hangs when a server is offline.

Settings → Connections (next to the Vault). Connect external MCP servers (None/Bearer/OAuth auth, global or per project); each discovered tool must be classified then enabled before Apollo can call it, with the same approval flow and untrusted-description quarantine as Orbit’s own actions.

MCP: Apollo gains an mcp.<server>.<tool> handle per enabled tool. Deep dive: context/apollo-phase8a-preflight.md, context/apollo-phase8b-preflight.md.

Settings → Developer → MCP Testing / MCP Debug. Run a real tool call against any connected server with a schema-generated form (Raw and Envelope result tabs, copy-as-curl), plus a redacted MCP call-log viewer. A “Local process” connection type spawns a command as a local MCP server.

The Connections tab → Gallery. Sivants-curated, pre-classified MCP bundles (GitHub, Stripe, Gmail — ”✓ Verified”) plus “Import from GitHub” for community mcp-bundle.json; adding installs in a review-before-enable state.

Settings → MCP Servers. Add, edit, and delete HTTP(S) MCP server entries (no-auth, bearer, or custom header; credential from the Vault) that new agent sessions can connect to; schema versioning via X-MCP-Schema-Version / /mcp-v2/schema-version.
