What is Linear?
A fast, keyboard-centric issue tracking and project management tool designed specifically to streamline modern software development workflows.
Linear was built as an antidote to slow, bloated project management software. It features a highly opinionated, minimalist interface that forces teams into efficient agile workflows. It integrates directly with GitHub; referencing a Linear issue ID in a Git commit automatically updates the ticket and alerts the team.
How it relates to Orbit
Orbit has no Linear integration; agent work is tracked as numbered prompts in its queue, and GitHub Issues appear in the project’s Git/Deploy tab. See The Prompt Queue for details.
