What is Neon?
A fully managed, serverless PostgreSQL database that separates storage from compute to offer instant branching, bottomless storage, and scale-to-zero capabilities.
Neon modernizes Postgres for the cloud era. Because it separates the compute processing from the data storage, it can spin up databases instantly, scale compute resources on demand, and pause billing when the database is inactive (scale-to-zero). It also features instant database branching, creating exact copies of production data in seconds.
