What is Qwen?

A powerful family of open-weight large language models developed by Alibaba Cloud, known for particularly strong coding and multilingual capabilities.

Qwen models (particularly the Qwen 2.5 series) rival the best western open-weight models like Llama. They are heavily utilized globally because they are offered in diverse parameter sizes, from tiny edge models to massive frontier models, and possess exceptional inherent coding and reasoning skills.
