Service Registry

A built-in mapping of vault key names to known MCP server URLs. When you add a recognized key, Orbit shows the corresponding MCP URL automatically.

What it is

The Service Registry is static and ships with Orbit — new services are added in updates. When you add a Supabase key to the Vault, Orbit recognizes it and Settings → Integrations shows the corresponding MCP URL with a Copy button. This removes the guesswork of finding and configuring MCP connections for external services.

When you would use it

You interact with the Service Registry implicitly every time you add a key — its presence is what makes integration discovery seamless.

Common operations

  • Adding a known service's key and getting MCP URL automatically
  • Seeing which Vault keys have MCP equivalents
